What's not allowed
- Phishing, fraud, scams, or impersonating another person, business, or service.
- Distributing malware or hosting systems designed to compromise other devices.
- Spam, unsolicited bulk email, or email sent in violation of applicable rules.
- Unauthorized scanning, attacks, traffic flooding, or operation of open proxies and relays.
- Cryptocurrency mining on free servers.
- Illegal content or content that violates another person's rights.
- Registering domain names that imitate protected brands to mislead people.
We may review other services on the same account when we receive a credible report about one of them. A report does not automatically mean every service on the account has violated these rules.
How abuse reports are handled
- We receive reports through the abuse report form, abuse@tldomain.io, and automated security reports.
- We aim to review each report within 24 hours. If we find clear signs of serious phishing or malware, we may act immediately to protect users and other networks.
- A member of our team reviews the evidence and records the reason for any enforcement decision.
- When appropriate, we review other domains, servers, or mailboxes on the same account for related abuse.
- We notify the account holder about a suspension and explain how to appeal, except where notice must be delayed for a lawful or security-related reason.
What happens when a service is suspended?
- Domain: the domain may be placed on hold at the registrar and stop resolving.
- VPS: the server may be stopped while its data is preserved for review, subject to the applicable retention policy.
- Email: sending and receiving may be disabled while stored mail is retained for review, subject to the applicable retention policy.
- Domain transfers: restrictions are governed by applicable ICANN and registry policies and any lawful dispute or abuse process. The exact conditions will be confirmed with our registrar before launch.
Appeals
You have 14 days from the suspension notice to appeal. A member of our team will review your appeal and email you the outcome. If we decide the suspension was a mistake, we'll restore access as soon as reasonably possible, subject to technical and legal requirements.
Report suspected abuse
If you believe a domain, server, or mailbox is being used for abuse, submit a report or email abuse@tldomain.io.
